Vinyl Co, Ltd.
Co-founder & Director, Seoul, Korea, May 2000 – Dec. 2004
While majoring in Visual Communications at Kookmin University in Seoul, 1997,
I joined the ranks of Samsung Design Membership (SDM), an initiative of Samsung Electronics' HR development program. Collaborating with colleagues I met during three years engaged in various research projects in Samsung’s work-study program, I co-founded Vinyl Co. Ltd (www.vi-nyl.com), a digital media design group. Combining our creative energies, our company hit the ground running; within five years, we secured major clients like Samsung, Sony, Motorola, and Shiseido. With specializations in three divisions including web agency, mobile user interface, and publishing, Vinyl grew into Korea's largest design agency with 120 employees and annual revenue of $4.2 million.
